Editorial Head
Shivanee Thote
Shivanee Thote is the Editorial Head of India People Blog. She leads the editorial direction of every India People Blog brand, including IPB News, Third Eye, Voice of Youth and Candlelight, and is responsible for our editorial standards and corrections.
Our desks
IPB News desk
Our daily news desk at ipbnews.in follows the stories that move India every day, from politics and the economy to the courts, the states and positive news, and credits and links every source it draws on.
Third Eye
Our features and documentary strand. The Third Eye team goes to the place, reads the document and checks the number, to show how policy and events land in real lives.
Voice of Youth
Our podcast team produces Voice of Youth, long-form conversations with young Indians who are building, questioning and changing things, on Spotify, Apple Podcasts and Amazon Music.
Candlelight
The Candlelight team finds and profiles ordinary Indians doing quiet, unglamorous work that helps others, with their consent and their dignity intact.

How we work
- Accuracy before speed. We would rather be second and right than first and wrong.
