Voice of Youth S2 E23: Ashwin Kumar on Farmland and Villa Estates

Ashwin Kumar of Vibez Estates tells Voice of Youth how buying land in India is turning from a one-time purchase into managed farms and villa estates.

Ashwin Kumar, founder of Vibez Estates, says owning land in India is moving away from a plain purchase towards a lifestyle built around how owners use and experience it. He makes that case to host Indra in episode 23 of Voice of Youth Season 2, released on 26 October 2026.

Managed Farms and Branded Villas in South India

Ashwin has spent more than 18 years in real estate and asset development. Vibez Estates puts several kinds of ownership under one roof: managed farmland, branded villas, tie-ups with hospitality companies and estates built around a destination, spread across South India.

Running Land Like a Cold Chain

Much of the conversation is about how such estates are run. Ashwin explains why he brings cold-chain-style operating discipline to land management, and how farm technology, sustainable practices and hotel-grade services can make farmland and villa estates more transparent for the people who own them, and more rewarding.

HNIs, NRIs and Building in Scenic Places

He also talks about the growing interest among high-net-worth Indians and NRIs in property they can use and enjoy, about luxury vacation homes, and about the responsibility that comes with building in scenic places. The episode closes with what buyers should weigh before they invest.

The episode runs for about 24 minutes. Play it above, or find it on Spotify and Apple Podcasts. Every episode of both seasons is on the Voice of Youth page.
