Mumbai university will be conducting exams offline, as well as in online mode

Mumbai university will be conducting the exams in offline as well as online mode. All traditional courses exams will be in online mode, whereas the professional courses exams will be conducted in offline mode. The notification was released on the official website.

But the final decision for traditional undergraduate final exams is yet to be taken.

The offline paper will be a mix of multiple choice questions and descriptive questions.

The undergraduate backlog exams, Semester 1, 3, and 5 will be in online mode. Semester 1, 3 and 5 exams will be on 25th March. Semester 4 exam will start from 4th April which will be also in online mode. But offline mode for first year students from May 11.

Postgraduate exams for backlog from semester 1 and 3 will be in online mode which will be held from May 2. However semester 2 and 3 will be in offline mode. After a long two years gap, Mumbai university is conducting offline exams.

And also after 2 years of a long period, students will be using their pen to write the exam.

This decision was needed to be taken as it has been a very long time but students need to gear up as they might find it difficult as their habit of writing paper has been broken.2020 brought many chances because due to pandemic and educational systems were changed completely. But now everything is back to normal.

Schools have been started, boards are not to be conducted offline and hence the education system is coming back to normal. Earlier the university stated to conduct post graduate exams in offline mode as the covid cases are surging down.
