Google plans to replace Duo with Meet

Google is planning to replace Google Duo with its video calling app Google Meet eventually. Before it happens,  many features will be incorporated into Meet. Javier Soltero, Head of G suite’s announced to the employees that having both the platforms did not make sense. With the focus on Meet amid COVID-19, he has opted to have it become one video calling service under Google for both regular and enterprise customers.
