Announcement of the “Project Dolphin”

PM Narendra Modi has announced the launch of the Project Dolphin for the conservation and protection of the dolphins in the rivers and water bodies of the country. It will involve conservation of the dolphins in their aquatic habitats through the use of modern technology especially in enumeration and anti-poaching activities. It will also strive for improving the livelihood of the local communities.
