Delhi Yellow alert and night curfew

Sources state that a yellow alert has been issued in Delhi. As per the reports, now the following restrictions will be imposed:

1. Educational institutions (schools, etc) will be completely shut.

2. Movie theatres will be shut as well.

3. Gyms will also be closed down.

4. Bars and restaurants will be operating only at a 50% capacity and till 10 pm only.

5. Malls and non essential shops will only be open on an odd even basis from 10 am to 8 pm.

6. There will be a complete ban on social gatherings.

7. Night curfew is imposed from 11 pm to 5 am.

8. Buses and metro will operate om a 50% seating capacity

The yellow alert was announced as a result of an increase in the rate of positivity in Delhi since the last few days. The COVID positivity rate went above 0.5% in the last few days.

Therefore, in order to avoid resurgence, the above mentioned restrictions have been imposed with a warning that if they are not followed properly, markets will be shut down completely.
