Delhi to resume offline classes?

The curfew in Delhi ended on Monday, and the government said today that cases of COVID 19 continue to decline. The Delhi Disaster Management Agency (DDMA) has also reduced the fine for not wearing a mask from £ 1,000 to £ 500. All schools will be able to take classes on campus from April 1st.

The decision to end the curfew and reopen school altogether was also made because of the COVID 19 case, sources said. They said they were also concerned that the loss of business could get people into trouble. With the curfew removed, shops, restaurants and other facilities can remain open until late.

However, the government strictly guarantees that people will comply with COVID 19 security measures, said Prime Minister Arvind Keziwar.

If the provincial capital’s positive rate, or the number of infections per 100 tests, remains less than 1%, the limit remains ineffective. At a meeting earlier this month, DDMA approved the resumption of on-campus learning in some classes at schools and universities, and a reduction of 11 pm instead of 10 pm.

The Chamber of Commerce, a trader’s association in Delhi, has sent a letter to the Vice Governor requesting that the restrictions be lifted altogether due to the reduced cases of COVID19 and infection rates.

The Home Office also urged state and union territories to consider relaxing Covid’s curb on social, sports, entertainment, academic and religious events, and curfew.
