A pair of Mahatma Gandhi’s glasses sell for 2.5cr

A pair of glasses worn by Indian freedom fighter Mahatma Gandhi look set to sell for tens of thousands of pounds (currently at £ 50,000) after being put up for auction online. The “rare and important” glasses were gifted to the seller’s uncle during the 1920s.
