Terrorist arrested in Delhi suspected to have links with ISIS

Abu Yusuf was arrested by the Delhi police at 11:30 pm in Delhi’s Dhaula khun area, after a shootout last night. Suspected to be an ISIS terrorist word, he was armed with Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), two pressure cookers turned into IEDs containing 15 kgs of explosives in them, and a pistol was retrieved from him. The IEDs have been diffused following which he has been taken into custody for eight days. The police believe that he was determined to launch “a lone wolf attack”. Abu Yusuf told the police that he hails from Uttar Pradesh’s Balrampur, after his arrest, six areas across Delhi and Gaziabad in UP and Uttarakhand have been raided, the village of Balrampur is under vigilance, people have been barred from entering the area. NSG commandos and members of the Bomb Disposal Squad also maintained a search operations in Buddha Jayanti park near Delhi. Only a few days before a Doctor was arrested in Bengaluru for alleged links to ISIS.
