Will ICSE Board exams 2020 be conducted or not: Decision to be made only after CBSE decides

Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations. CISCE popularly called as ICSE Board has submitted in the Supreme Court on June 23, 2020. That it would broadly follow the CBSE Board’s decision on conducting remaining exams in the country. Or giving students the option to not to physically appear for the 10th, 12th Board exams this year.

In the latter situation, the students would be marked on the basis of their pre-Board exams or internal exams conducted by the schools.  

The bench hearing the case comprised of Justice Dinesh Maheshwari, Justice A M Khanwilkar, and Justice Sanjiv Khanna. Solicitor Geral Tushar Mehta was there to represent the HRD Ministry and CBSE.
