“Warm Congratulations” from Australia’s PM for India’s 74th Independence Day

On Friday, the Australian PM Scott Morrison gave warm Congratulations to Indian citizens for the 74th Independence Day on 15th August. In his message, he said that the friendship between India and Australia is more than ‘trade’ and ‘diplomacy’, the friendship between two countries is built on “bharosa” [trust] and “samman” [respect].

He even highlighted the bilateral relationship between the two countries to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and he added “India is now our biggest source of migrants and their presence has contributed to Australia in becoming the most successful multicultural nation on earth.”
