UP polls: BJP candidate’s son caught distributing cash
EC serves notice to the candidateAnil Sharma, a UP minister, and BJP candidate was served with an EC notice after his son was caught on camera distributing cash to people.
The video quickly became popular on social media. The returning officer for the constituency has requested an explanation from the minister within 24 hours.
The viral video purportedly shows Sharma’s son Kush distributing Rs 100 notes to people while drum beats can be heard nearby. Minister Sharma has been served with a notice from the Shikarpur returning officer.
