UP Congresswoman gets beaten up by party colleagues

Congress worker Tara Devi was assaulted by a group of Congress workers at a meeting of the party leaders in Deoria town for questioning the candidature for the upcoming by-polls of a man accusing him of being a rapist.

Cellphone videos that are being widely circulated show Tara Devi being punched and pushed around by a group of men. She named Congress district president Dharmendra Singh, vice president Ajay Singh and two others for the attack in her police complaint.
