Unlock 1.0 Announced

The Ministry of Home Affairs on Saturday published new guidelines as to how the fifth phase of lockdown is to be handled. It is being referred to as ‘Unlock 1.0’. And is scheduled to continue till June 30.

The issued guidelines will be applicable for all areas except the specified containment zones. Interstate travel will be allowed without permit. Also religious institutions, schools, colleges and other educational institutions will start functioning in phases.

However, night curfew will be in place from 9 pm to 5 am when movement of individuals will be strictly prohibited except for essential services. As for the containment zones, the lockdown will continue with lease only on essential services till June 30.
