Tokyo Olympics guarantees refunds to Japanese ticket buyers

Fans living in Japan who bought tickets for the postponed Tokyo Olympics can apply for a refund online between November 10- November 30, a local organizing committee said on Friday.

However, this doesn’t apply to fans who have purchased tickets outside Japan through so-called Authorized Ticket Resellers appointed by national Olympic committees.

The organisers also promised refunds incase they need to limit the available seats to abide by the social-distancing norms because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
