THE PROBABLE WAYS THE WORLD COULD END.
The infamous Mayan calendar predicts that doomsday will arrive on Sunday, June 21 and the date is today’s which also coincides with the annual solar eclipse. Previously in 2012 , there was a lot of excitement, prediction and hullabaloo that the world might end on December 21, that years. Theories of a huge tsunami wave big enough to gulp the whole world, emerged that would erase humanity emerged.
Since all creations have an end earth will not be an exception. So the scientists gave some probable ways that could erase humanity. A few of them are :
1. The earth will die with the sun.
The star of our solar system would last until it exhausts its Helium. After the exhaustion of its helium reserves the sun will grow bigger as the Hydrogen in the core ignites. In its most ballooned state the sun could swallow its immediate orbiters and would stray into earth’s path. If earth fails to accustom a new orbit , the sun will absorb it and it would end humanity. Scientist have predicted that this would not take place until the next five billion years.
2. Tectonic Plate movements.
The lithosphere and the uppermost mantle are divided int tectonic plates. Currently there are sixteen major tectonic plates in the world, namely – African plate , Antarctic plate, Indo-australian plate, North American plate, Pacific Plate , South American Plate, Eurasian Plate, Arabian plate, Carribbean Plate, Cocos plate, Juan de Fuca plate, Indian plate, Nazca Plate, Filipino Plate, Scotia Plate, Panama plate, Agean plate. This plates move due to the convectional current of the molten rocks lying below them. There might be a simultaneous movement of all these tectonic plates and collision , subduction, so reading and transform faulting may occur all at once causing earthquakes of as high as 9 magnitudes and multiple mega tsunami waves, the results of this phenomenon includes erasing mankind.
3. Global Warming.
There is an average surface temperature rise on earth of about 0.95°C from 1880 to 2016,and the rate is still climbing,at the rate the earth would be uninhabitable within 2100 i.e. about eighty years from now. A 2°C rise would mean that the mountain glaciers and rivers would vanish and there would be more landslides since the permafrost holding them would melt. Sea levels would rise by about a meter and would displace about 10% of the global population would be erased.
4. Third World War.
Mankind had already suffered the scourge nd horror of two world wars which were fought with not much advanced military equipments as of now. If there is a World War III , as foreseen by Nostradamus, the weapons in use would be devastating. Unlike the first two world wars, there would be hardly any face to face battle between the troops of nation but the war will be fought from the sea and air. There would not be bullets but Inter Continental Ballistic Missiles(ICBMs) equipped with nuclear warheads that would fired from a corner of the world targeting another corner. Moreover the more dangerous and horrific, hydrogen bomb will also be used. This nuclear annihilation would surely wipe humans from the face of earth. The earth would go into the Ice Age.
Since any natural phenomena that would wipe out humans in one go is not to occur in the near future , a nuclear annihilation might be an event in the near most future that is capable of wiping out the mankind, in a go.
