The massive explosion in Beirut, 78 dead

Tuesday Beirut shook with a massive, horrendous explosion. As far as the last update, 78 people have lost their lives. More than 4000 people have been injured. According to some viral video footage, first a fiery flash, then white smoke covered the entire surrounding. It is being considered that the source of the explosion is a warehouse near the sea.
The Lebanese capital Beirut is home to almost 2 million people. It is situated near the Mediterranean sea. Post-explosion footages are showing debris lying on the road, damaged houses, vacated cars. This is one of the most terrible events that happened amid pandemic. Lebanon’s prime minister Hasaan Diab has said, “what happened today won’t pass without accountability. Responsible will pay the price for what happened.”
