Sudan brings forth wide reaching reforms

After over 30 years of Islamist rule, Sudan has laid out far-reaching changes including permitting non-Muslims to drink liquor and rejecting the apostasy law. A heap of new laws was passed last week however this is the first open clarification of it.
Sudan has additionally restricted female genital mutilation. Under the new laws, women no longer need consent from a male member for traveling with their children. The changes come after long-lasting ruler Omar al-Bashir was expelled a year ago after monstrous road fights.
