After a sensational victory against Aston Villa, Man U failed to whiplash Southampton last night after a draw 2-2. Anthony Martial missed his first chance after kick-off when Villa goalkeeper McCarthy handed the ball outside the posts.
At 12’ Stuart Armstrong after receiving the ball from teammate Redmond, fired and got his first success. Anthony Martial passed the ball to youngster Rashford and he ended up scoring for his team. Soon after his magnificent assist Martial attacked once again and returned with his spectacular goal.
When the official 90 minutes passed, it seemed like Man U would win the match but the miracle happened through Obafemi. Redmond attacked at extra time, his blazing shot was saved by star De Gea, but Gea failed miserably when Obafemi scored the final goal of the match from the corner. Despite this nail-biting finish, the form of Frenchman Martial at Old Trafford has pleased the supporters of Man U.
