Siberia continues to suffer from Wildfire

Wildfires in Siberia are causing haze and worsening air quality in Southcentral and Eastern Alaska. A small town of Siberia, Verkhoyansk reported a high temperature of 100.4-degree F on June 20. Siberian fires have released a record-breaking amount of carbon this year.

The record-breaking temperature in the Russian Arctic region and Siberia continue to remain much higher than normal which has contributed to an increase of hundreds of wildfires.
