Rath Yatra of Puri suspended to stop the spread of infection

Corona infection is almost on the rise, so many people will be infected with the disease if they travel to Puri Rath Yatra because millions of people gather in Puri Rath Yatra. Supreme Court Justice SA Bobade decided to postpone the Puri Rath Yatra this year keeping in mind the health of all. Although locals protested in front of the Puri temple over the decision, experts said the infection could be prevented if the Puri rath yatra was stopped.
