PM urges five worst-hit Covid-19 states to ramp up testing

Prime Minister Modi on virtual meet on Tuesday with State govt. of Bihar, West Bengal, Gujarat, Telangana, and Uttar Pradesh which accounts for nearly 80% of the current Covid-19 new cases in the country to ramp up testing. This is important for those states where the testing is low but the positivity rate is high. Other important states were Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Punjab, and Karnataka. PM said that if the virus is defeated in these 10 states, the entire country will win this fight against coronavirus.
