PM Modi tops the list of most popular world leader

The same website in May 2020, gave the highest rating to Prime Minister Modi with approval of 84 percent, however, the rating faced a fall in May 2021 with an approval rating of 63 percent.
The website of Morning Consult wrote, “The latest approval rating is based on data collected from January 13-19, 2022. Approval ratings are based on a seven-day moving average of adult residents in each country, with a sample size varying by country”.
Second to PM Modi is the Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador who’s approval rating touched 66 percent, followed by Italian PM Mario Draghi, who has an approval rating of 60 percent. The US President Joe Biden is ranked at 6th position with an approval rating of 63 percent along with Canadian President Justin Trudeau in the seventh position with an approval rating of 41 percent.
The worst performing position was backed by UK PM Boris Johnson with an approval rating of 26 percent. UK PM Johnson is currently facing a backlash in his country for attending parties during the covid restriction, with opposition and member of his own party demanding his resignation.
The sample size of the survey ranges between 3,000-5,000 for all nations except in the United States, where the average sample size is 45,000, approximately. In India, the sample was representative of the literate population.
