PM Modi to hold a meet with DMs on covid-19

New Delhi: On Thursday 20 May, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a meeting due to COVID-19 with District Magistrates of 10 states. With the worst sufferer states like West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Kerala, Haryana, Puducherry, Odisha, Jharkhand.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will also participate in this meeting. The PM will discuss about COVID-19 management in the district. He will also take a look to increase the number of vaccination drives in the meeting.
The Chief Secretary, Health Secretary will also attend the meeting with DMs of those 10 states. On Tuesday, PM held a meeting with the district officials of Bihar, Assam, Tamil Nadu, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Chandigarh, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
According to the Union Health Ministry in the last 24 hours, India recorded over 2.76 lakh cases on COVID-19 on Thursday. In the last 24 hours 3,847 people died due to COVID-19.
According to a released statement of The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the Central Government has provided more than 21 crore vaccines to the states and Union Territories.
Talking about the lockdown situation in states due to COVID-19 are Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Delhi, West Bengal, etc.
