Omicron scare – authorities explore for 24-year-old Botswana woman
The Omicron variant of Covid-19 which has sent agitation across many parts of the countries is additionally making shudder in Madhya Pradesh after a lady, who make an appearance from Botswana, went missing on making an appearance in Jabalpur city, last week.
Steps were taken by the administration to go looking for the woman.
The district administration and Dept of Health have launched a probe to locate the lady. the lady allegedly make an appearance at Jabalpur’s Dumna airport on November 18 and is unfindable since then, despite the frantic search operation, claimed district administration in Jabalpur on Sunday.
The administration has allocated a helpline number to circular the knowledge about the missing woman when Air India has pledged to provide the main points of the girl on Monday. The administrative teams inspected hotels and guest houses of town in search of the woman but couldn’t bump into her thus far the lady has been identified as 24-year-old Khumo Oremeet Selyn, a native of Botswana who is purported to own reached Jabalpur on November 18.
Information was given by the health department
An officer of the Health Department said that a woman who was approached out by the administration with the assistance of a number mentioned within the passenger list refused she arrived in Jabalpur and said she was with the embassy in the national capital.
Officers from Jabalpur to Bhopal are being questioned by authorities about the whereabouts of the missing woman. After Air India hands details of the passengers on the said flight, all of them are made to supply their samples, and girls once located are anesthetized genome sequencing process.

Proclamation made by CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan
Six days after lifting all the covid19 checks including those placed on schools, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Sunday announced that classes will again run with half capacity and online classes will restart. Parental consent for participating in classes physically is re-imposed, added Chouhan amid Omicron threat.
