Omicron patient from Delhi talks about symptoms, treatment and much more

According to sources, Sahil Thakur was tested positive with the Omicron variant three days after some cases were found in India.
Delhi’s first ever patient infected with the Omicron variant says that he had to go to Dubai for some business work and returned to Delhi on the 4th of December. The 37 year old man adds that he was not tested on the airport and hence he checked out. Furthermore, he also says that he had no symptoms at all.
He mentions that even though there were no symptoms of any type, he still isolated himself at home as a precautionary measure. On December 7th, Thakur had to travel to Bombay. Therefore, he got himself tested for the COVID-19 infection on December 6th and the results came out positive.
A couple of days later, he was informed that he had the Omicron variant. Following this, his travel plans were cancelled.Up until December 11, he was allowed to isolate himself at home and then an ambulance from the LNJP hospital came to pick him up.
It is also known that this is not the first time that Sahil Thakur has got this infection. He tested positive in the first wave as well. Omicron variant is highly transmissible. Therefore, whoever came in contact with Sahil Thakur was tested and the results came out to be negative.Now, Sahil Thakur is being home quarantined and kept under observation. Also, there is security personnel posted outside of their house and the patient is being intermittently checked by the Doctor.
