Not reposting it will make people to lose respect for you?

Add yours sticker is being trending on Instagram. People share their favourite and ask others to share their favourite by reposting it on their account. Everyone seems enjoying it and it’s indeed fun but when manipulation takes place there is no fun anymore in that sticker.

Recently something new was trending on Instagram saying that if you are against rape repost it which clearly states that if you don’t, you are not against it but you support rape. It also stated that the person would also lose respect if he doesn’t and the person who post it can view them and will not respect them made many to repost it again.

Similarly to the WhatsApp forward message where the message manipulate you to forward it or else something bad might happen. Forcing someone to follow certain things which will create a sense of tense in a person, is wrong. Reposting or not, doesn’t make someone big or small. It’s only about our mentality and what we think about a specific topic and not reposting it will not make any difference in our thoughts.

Everyone are against rape but using it for a trend like this only makes viewers uncomfortable and force one’s mind to repost it again. Without knowing any facts people get involved into such trends which are only for likes and following.

Some were accused for not reposting it as their respect is lost in eyes of the one who posted or reposted it.Manipulating people to repost it again is still forcing without even actually forcing that person. Emotionally using a person which leaves a person being disgusted if he/she doesn’t follow a specific chain.

Something important is educating one self and others but such post will not educate but only create a tense environment.Such trends should not be taken forward. There are many good posts for you to repost it and which actually educate people and create awareness among them.

Thinking what’s good for your viewers and how it can educate them instead of manipulating them makes you a real Influencer.
