Migrant workers seeking help From the Government

Covid-19 has rendered people around the world helpless and distressed, non residential labourers and migrant workers who work in the Gulf countries are no exception.
After the lockdown, group of migrant workers hailing from Telengana, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Orissa who have been living in Kuwait, had no source of income. Due to lack of proper accomodation, 10 to 16 people have been living in one room. Few construction workers have been forced to work without getting paid, most of the workers have not received the salary of the last five months. Appeals have been made to the Indian Embassy about this situation, but there have been no proper response.
