Massive crane crash in Visakhapatnam killed 11 people

11 people died in a major accident when a massive crane collapsed on them in Hindustan Shipyard Limited in Visakhapatnam, Andra Pradesh. During the time of the accident, this new crane was installed in the unit and was being tested. The mishap occurred when workers were engaged in erecting the crane, Police Commissioner RK Meena said.

District Collector Vinay Chand told media that four of the victims were employees of HSL while the rest belonged to a contracting agency.
