Karnataka govt caps rates for Covid-19 treatment

Covid-19 news updates: As covid-19 cases continue to rise across the globe, the head of the World Health Organisation has warned world leaders not to politicise the coronavirus pandemic but unite to fight it. With the global coronavirus cases crossing 9 million, the WHO chief reminding leaders that the pandemic is still accelerating and producing record daily increases in infections. US President’s spokesperson on Tuesday said that Donald Trump believes that China is responsible for the spread of deadly coronavirus that has killed more than 4.56 lakh people globally and over 1.22 lakh in the US. In India, decks have been cleared for holding the historic Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra at Odisha’s Puri today after the Supreme Court modified its stay order and permitted the festivities without any public attendance, besides directing other precautions in view of the coronavirus pandemic.
