Is Karnataka imposing the lockdown

On, Monday Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai immobilized the terror of lockdown in the middle of the coronavirus cases in some of the schools and colleges of the state.  

Reducing the anxiety, he made it clear that there is no mood now to inflict the lockdown in the State.

An order is given to the educational institutions

Basvaraj Bommai also added that “We have commanded adherence to strict precautions at schools and colleges, but not to close them. There is no program yet to force the lockdown”.

Interviewing the reporters

Speaking to the newsman, the Chief Minister insisted to the people not to fear Omicron and asked them to rigidly follow coronavirus guidelines.

He said that passengers who are coming on the scene from the countries where the Omicron variant is being found are being concealed at the airports and they would only be permitted to enter the cities only if they test negative of the corona.

Chief Minister Bommai said that a negative report is important for students who are coming from Kerala to study in Karnataka second test for covid is being done after the seven days of the first covid test report.

Precautions are taken by the state government

The State government is in continual consultation with experts and the Union government, and safeguards are being taken according to their guidelines, he said.

While answering the question about a person who arrived from South Africa found to be having different symptoms of the pandemic, Bommai said, “The test report of the person has been sent for genome string. The exact variant of the virus would be known from the genome string report.”

Concerning the booster dose for health workers, CM said that his government is biding one’s time the instructions from the Centre in that regard.

It’s been months since all the social workers are double vaccinated. We will act based on the instructions and the guidelines provided by the central government,” Bommai added.
