Innovative ways to spend time this lockdown
In the era of technology, we tend to spend most of our time online, playing games, watching videos, and wasting a lot of time thus. Still, we have a lot to do in this lockdown. Today I am going to suggest simple ways that are going to shake off the boredom from within you.

1. Arts and crafts
In our busy schedule, we hardly find time to wish others well on their birthdays. We keep so busy nowadays that, it becomes impossible for us to remember other’s birthdays. Well, this is the proper time to make something creative for your loved ones, which will be in their memories forever.
A birthday scrapbook
A birthday scrapbook is one of the sweetest things that can be gifted to anyone. All you need is just some cardstock papers, glue, scissors, and a ruler. That’s it, you can make various types of cards, paste pictures of your loved ones onto them, or even write some sweet messages. After that, you can paste all those in the form of an album, decorate with glitter sheets, colors, zari, crystals, etc. And gift it to your loved one.

Paper quilling
This is another type of fascinating art in order to spend time. All we need is a quilling tool, and quilling mold, in order to give any shape to the quilt paper. There is no need of buying one if you do not have a quilling tool. Take a matchstick or toothpick, make a small horizontal gap on the plane side and that’s it! Your quilling tool is ready. You can now quill strips of paper by placing the strip in between the gap and rolling it with the help of the toothpick or matchstick. We can create paper- quilled dolls, Mickey Mouse, idols, tables, chairs, Quilled jewelry, and so many things.
2. Online teaching
Those who desire for a part-time job and want a side-on come, can teach students online and make some money. For instance, there are many apps that provide online classes to students by providing contact numbers of students to the teachers. Teachers can easily ring up the students, ask them if they require an online tutor, and decide their salary with them. But at the same time, some applications charge useless money from beforehand and we should be aware of them.

3. Visiting our neighbors
These days, socialization has been reduced and everything happens online. This lockdown is the best time to visit those people who we have been forced to ignore so long. for example, if we have elderly people who stay away from us, we can visit them at least for some hours and spend quality time with them. Nowadays, people mostly prefer to stay in apartments, where they can sometimes arrange for a get- together or a tea- party on the rooftop or in someone’s room.
4. Reading and learning
Those people who have a desire for learning something new can start this exactly at this period of time. Those who love to read can Complete any series of novels, stories, epics, and enrich their knowledge. Writing on blogs and web sites is also a good option to be pursued. One can also master any new language at this point in time. Sometimes, cultural programs can also be arranged. Arranging debates, discussions apart from only get-togethers are very effective in enriching our own knowledge.
