Haryana forest department use seed broadcasting

Haryana forest and wildlife department used specifically designed drones for seed broadcasting. This is an attempt to reach tough and untouched terrain to plant species in order to increase the green cover of the state. In the forest areas of Shiwalik hills adjoining Panchkula, Yamunanagar, and Arawali hills in Gurgaon. A hundred hectares of forest land were identified for seed broadcasting through drones. Seed broadcasting of native species of trees started last Friday in the hilly terrain of a remote village, Jhanda, in the Sadhura sub-division of Yamunanagar district.
