Govt issues advisory for mandatory action in crimes against women

The Ministry of Home Affairs has issued an advisory to States and Union Territories for ensuring mandatory action by Police in cases of crime against women. They may issue instructions to all concerned to ensure strict compliance and failing to adhere to these mandatory requirements will invite stringent actions for the concerned officers.
