First vaccine trials begin in Africa for Covid-19

The first COVID participation in the vaccine trial started on Wednesday. The volunteers were put on injections developed at the University of Oxford in Britain. A large scale trials are also being conducted in South Africa, Britain, and Brazil. Now that highly developed clinical trial facilities are available in Cameroon, Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya, and South Africa also all 54 of Africa’s countries now have the lab capacity to test for the coronavirus.
