Earth’s magnetic field is disturbing

Our earth is losing magnetic intensity in earth’s magnetic field. The reasons are still unknown. According to the scientists our earth has lost 10% of its magnetic strength. This has occurred over last two centuries. According to European space Agency, a supplementary change has been seen from South America to Southwest Africa.

This drastic change has been seen from past 50 years. How important this earth’s magnetic shield is? First of all it works as a shield to our earth. It helps deflect solar wind and save ozone layer. Also we know the importance of ozone layer. As per the research this change results in switching of the North Pole and South Pole. And hopefully nobody wants to witness this Flip.

How the flip will affect us?

The spacecraft from this region might face failure. Same is with the earth’s satellites. Also it won’t be possible to use the mobile networks in that regions.
