Class 10 student of reputed Noida school jumps off from 19th floor in an alleged suicide

A student of class 10, from a reputed school in Noida, allegedly committed suicide by jumping off the 19th floor of her housing society. The incident took place in the early hours of September 30, 2020.

The girl stayed with her mother and a domestic staff member in an apartment of Gardenia Glory Society, Sector 46, Noida. The other members of the household were asleep when she took the extreme step during the early hours of Wednesday morning.

The child’s steps were traced using the CCTV camera of the society which clearly show her walking up the stairs to the terrace of her building. Her parents, as per the police, had separated 6 months ago.

She lived with her mother, who is a lawyer. Her father, a doctor, lives and practices in Africa.
