China raises rates of 70% of emergency raw material for drug manufacturing in India, by 30%.

About 80 percent of the essential raw material for medicines made in India import from China. After the Indo-Chinese military dispute in Galwan, Chinese companies have increased the price of the raw material by about 30 percent in one go.
A 30 percent increase in the price of raw materials in one fell swoop will have a direct impact on the price of medicines. As a result, the prices of everything from paracetamol to antibiotics may rise soon.
