Champions League will start in August amid Covid-19

UEFA Champions League 2020-21 will be started on 8th August. After a scuffle with a pandemic, club football has returned on the ground. The Premier League ended with Liverpool as champion and Man City as runner up. The drama to take 3rd and 4th positions began early, but on Sunday night it took a new turn. Chelsea was in 3rd position before Man U snatched it from them. Lampard’s boys had to end as 4th.
As the rule of Champions League, every 4 top teams of EPL, La Liga, Serie A, and Bundesliga will compete accompanied by several other clubs from Europe. Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, and Sevilla have been nominated from La Liga. Other big teams – Juventus, Dortmund, Inter, Bayern, PSG- will also take part in the combat.
After the pandemic, matches are being played in audience-less stadiums. This has affected the sports economy. In addition, the cheering of fans is missing in the ground. Champions League is also likely to face this crowd less environment.
