Centre calls for 500 big firms to clear MSME dues

The Ministry of MSMEs has asked the top 500 corporate entities to pay up the dues of cash-starved small firms and vendors citing legal provisions under MSMED Act 2006.

The ministry has also reminded the conglomerates to file their half-yearly returns with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
