Beximco signs deal with Serum Institute

Bangladesh’s Beximco Pharmaceuticals is investing in the Serum Institute of India(SII). This is being done to ensure Dhaka gets priority access to COVID-19 vaccines being developed by the Indian drug manufacturer.

SII has partnered with AstraZeneca, the Gates Foundation, and the Gavi vaccine alliance to produce more than a billion doses of COVID-19 vaccines for global supply.
