Amendment in rules, Vasundhara Raje can live in her government residence: Gehlot govt to HC

There are amendments in rules by Rajasthan High Court allowing Vasundhara Raje to live in her government bungalow. The government of Ashok Gehlot on Thursday stated that Rajasthan High Court has made an amendment regarding its existing rules allowing former BJP Chief minister Vasundhara can continue in occupation of a government residence.
A notification from the government will be issued by the Ashok Gehlot government on August 1 allowing “out of turn allotment” of an appropriate house the former Chief Minister, Union cabinet minister, Minister of state, and also twice the member of the upper house.
Stating that the high court’s order has been joined with the Rajasthan government in its feedback it has told HC that as far as allowance of the bungalow to Raje is concerned she will continue her living in government residence and will also be entitled as the member of Rajasthan’s legislative policy.
