Amazon, Flipkart expect double in festive sales placing large orders with brands

With a high demand in the e-market Amazon and Walmart owned Flipkart are expecting a high rise in the television, smartphones, washing machines, refrigerators, and the apparel.

They have asked sellers to place large orders with their brands. In mobile phones, Amazon and Flipkart expect sales to more than double this festive season from the previous year while in electronics they expect a 50-60% increase and 40-50% growth in apparel and fashion.

A Flipkart spokesman didn’t respond to on festive season orders but said it is focused on addressing the needs of customers in a safe and secure manner and will continue to make investments to keep this a priority in the future.
