A video of a Bahrain woman breaking Ganesh idols goes viral
A 54-year-old woman was seen shouting at a salesman, while lifting several Ganesh idols and throwing it to the ground, speaking in Arabic she said that “this is a Muslim country”. In a video that went viral on the internet, sparked a major outcry amongst people and a strong reaction against the discrimination.
Just a few days before the Ganesh Chaturthi, the incident took place in a supermarket at Manama’s Juffair.
Bahrain’s authority has started legal action against the woman for denigrating a sect.
