A new tick-borne virus reported in China

A new infectious viral disease caused by a tick-borne virus has killed 7 people and infected 60 individuals reported in China. Official media express their concern about the possibility of its human to human transmission, at least 7 people have died in Anhui and east China’s Zhejiang province due to virus. Virologists said that the infection may have been passed on the human by ticks and that the virus can be transmitted between humans.
