A married man who eloped with Indian Idol singer Renu Nagar commits suicide in Rajasthan

Jaipur:

A 27-year-old married man who had run away with Indian Idol fame singer Renu Nagar who died because of consuming poison in Bharatpur district of Rajasthan, which was said by the police on Friday.

A dead person was identified as Ravi Shankar had run away
with Nagar last month and the police had traced them on August 24. Shankar had taken the poison on Thursday night and was taken to the hospital nearby in Alwar district where doctors had checked him and they said that he was dead.

Alwar police told that his body has been shifted to a mortuary for post-mortem. Ravi Shankar and Nagar had run away and the girl’s father had filed an FIR in the police station against Shankar on July 1. The police traced them on August 24.
