Durga idol into flames

FD Block, Kolkata, Salt Lake Durga Puja Pandal was burning in flames as fire broke out at the pandal. The entire Durga idol was burnt even before they could immerse the idol.

Durga Puja this year has been a sweet experience for a few and a sour experience for the others. With the death rates going higher day by day, it has become difficult for people to cheer up.

Amidst such hard times, the burning of the Durga Idol at FD Block is disheartening and sad.

Fortunately, no one was injured because the fire had broken out early in the morning.
