“Interference of Government should be minimal” PM on educational policy NEP

The new educational scheme will be concentrating more on learning rather than studying, as said by PM Narendra Modi as he was directing the opening session of the Governor Conference on the National Educational Policy today.
“Educational schemes and Education structure are very essential means of fulfilling the ambition of the country. Central, state and local bodies all play a very vital role in relation to the responsibility of the education system. However, it is also the fact of the matter that the intervention of the government in the educational scheme and its impact should be minimal, as stated by Narendra Modi.
The more teachers and parents are linked with the educational policy, the more students will find themselves associated, more its application and comprehensiveness increases, he mentioned while conducting the session.
Titled ‘Role of NEP-2020 in Transforming Higher Education’, the session was organized by educational ministers of all states, Vice-chancellor of state-universities and other senior officials.
